News from Apple

And to prevent my brother from another heart attack: No, it’s _not_ something I got, won or something else. This time it’s in first place a bad news for me, but it’s quite interesting nontheless.

I was told my TouchClock has a bug and so it won’t be accepted for the App Store at it’s current state. Well, yes, ok. That it has a bug is not big news, but: Apple actually do test all the apps before they are accepted for App Store. And they do not only run automatic tests checking the integrity of the file and the signature. They do really use the apps, otherwise they couldn’t have found the bug.

Well, I’m kind of impressed, but it’s also good to know that they do it because now I am sure that all the apps in the store are really usable and I don’t have to worry trying out a new app.

Thanks, Apple!
